| I'm a mom to 3 amazing boys (13, 10 and 2), wife to a music aficionado, and my days are very full, to say the least. My artsy crafty business, Mermaiden Creations, has grown and evolved over the years out of an obsessive compulsive need to create and articulate the constant stream of ideas flowing into my head. My sources of inspiration are endless, but I can always count on some good channeling from nature or a concert/musical event. For me, creating is an exercise in magic. I find the polarity of weird beauty fascinating, as well as the combination of things dark and light. I start every day with a cup of dark coffee, bisect the day with dark chocolate, and have been known to enjoy a Guinness after dinner. The San Francisco Bay Area is my home and community, where folks barely blink at the pagan room parent tattooed mom. I am somewhat of an A.D.D. crafter (eclectic or diverse would be more flattering terms); my studio is filled floor to ceiling with *stuff*. And I almost know where everything is. I love to listen to weird folk music and read fantasy novels and archaeology text books. You'll find me at weekend kids sports events or well past midnight donning my favorite witch hat. |

And there is a fridge in the backroom but as we only ever go in there during breaks I feel it won't be shown off as it should be. So at moment I'm leaning it on the base of my PC which sadly is covered in plastic lol.
